So I really regret having that out there.” - Steven Spielberg I have loved movies for as long as I can remember. I've amassed way too many over the years. Everything gets ripped and played back via my Plex server. There is absolutely zero correlation between my film ratings and likes. My ratings speak for themselves but I find lately that they more strongly reflect my own experience with the films. Likes are 100% personal and do not in any way reflect the quality of the films. Some might be 1.5 star cheesy B-movies to which I have great affection and some might be universally acclaimed masterpieces. Movies tagged as nostalgia or memories are ones that I can’t possibly rate objectively. My four are usually random personal or seasonal favorites. Physical media forever.
